Rebecca writes plays, comedy, and journalism. She's interested in finding the silly and the serious in each other, tight-knit communities, and questions about religion and culture. Her nonfiction often weaves reporting with cultural criticism and a strong first-person narrative. Her writing has been published in The Forward, The New Haven Independent, Alma, and HowlRound Theatre Commons. At Yale, Rebecca was awarded the James S. Metcalfe Prize for the best essay about theater.

In the wake of an antisemitic attack, members of Temple Beth Shalom form a krav maga training group. The weeks pass. The drills get more intense. The table in the back always has bagels. But when self-defense bleeds into danger, the group has to grapple with what it means to be safe – and how far they’ll go to ensure that they feel protected.

Judy, Pam, and Stella are dog people. Muffin, Ollie, and Patricia are dogs. Dr. Mark at the animal hospital is going to make sure they live long, happy, dog lives. A play about waiting rooms, domestication, and unconditional love at its most extreme.

i'm so happy for you!!!!!! is a ten-episode comedy web series that Rebecca co-wrote and stars in with Charlotte Polk and Ihea Inyama. It follows four friends from the same college improv group when one makes her Broadway debut as the Bachelorette in The Bachelorette: The Musical (The Bachelorette Musical) a year after graduation, sending the other three into a tailspin and forcing them to reconcile their friendship with their overwhelming jealousy.
